On no longer owning anything

I've been getting pretty fed up with the whole slide into technofuedalism, I'm tired of not owning my own shit, don't own my 600+ collection of games on Steam, don't own my music, don't own my movies.

If an australian mom group can force mastercard or visa to pressure valve to remove any game they find objectional, my 600+ games library doesn't mean shit. Now I trust Valve more than MOST companies but at the end of the day the corporations aren't our friends, so I've decided I'm no longer spending money on things I need permission to own. I've been buying more and more of my games from GOG and downloading their DRM free installers as well as downloading over 150 games from humble bundle that I've bought over the years. I'm evangelizing others to do the same, to buy their music on physical media, to buy games that are DRM free, to host their own stuff wherever possible.
